Surge Development Group was founded by Rocky Williams, who was instrumental in the success of MBC Consultants over the past 20 years. Prior to founding Surge, Rocky played a key role in delivering program management, construction consulting, and construction management services to clients.
Darren Olson is a partner and brings over 15 years of construction experience to the team. Together, Rocky and Darren are committed to delivering the same level of excellence in construction services that they have built their careers on.

Rocky Williams is an accomplished construction manager and cost consultant. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Southern Methodist University. His expertise in financial analysis and decision-making has proven invaluable in the commercial real estate development industry.
Darren Olson is a partner at Surge Development Group and has over 15 years of experience in the commercial construction industry. He graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Architectural Engineering and began his career at Austin Commercial, where he spent 11 years in various roles such as Project Engineer and Senior Estimator.
